The military, police and air traffic controllers have implemented special procedures securing airspace over Poland during the organization of the NATO Summit in Warsaw. The Armed Forces Branches Operational Command (DORSZ) introduced restrictions to air traffic for many types of aviation activities, and has even banned flights within a radius of 100 km from the National Stadium. The police will send out additional patrols to the immediate vicinity of the airport.
The new radar at Okęcie is operational
Today we have commissioned a new radar set (primary and secondary radar) near the airport at the Warsaw-based Okęcie. It was built and commissioned in a record time of 11 months, it replaced the worn out ASR-9/MSSR radar, the antenna of which made 147 933 000 rotations during its 23 years of operation.
Polish Air Navigation Services Agency invites to negotiations regarding the sale of the aircraft L-410 UVP-E15 Turbolet, SP-TPB.
The aircraft which is the subject of the sale can be viewed in Hangar "A" at Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw, 17 Stycznia 49, between 30.06-04.07.2016. from 8.00 to 14. Negotiations shall begin on 11.07.2016 at 9:00 am and end on 14.07.2016 at 14:00.
