FREQUENTIS and PANSA sign Memorandum of Cooperation on future exploration of data-driven airports
At World ATM Congress in Madrid, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) and Frequentis signed an agreement to explore concepts, technologies and architectures to capture and integrate data around aerodromes. The first step is the joint development of a technical demonstrator, marking a milestone in the creation of next level data-driven communication systems in the tower and airport environment.

Frequentis and PANSA present its steps to next generation tower services at World ATM Congress in Madrid.
Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) is rolling out the new electronic flight data management solution (EFES) from Frequentis, as the first step towards generation tower services. EFES will be implemented at all 15 control towers in Poland, marking the first step in a program to integrate and streamline flight data around its airports. Airspace users, airport operators and third parties will also see enhancements from flight plan digitalisation.

Free Route Airspace in Poland successfully implemented!
On the 28th of February, 2019, the Free Route Airspace (FRA) was officially implemented in the Polish airspace. The testing and validation phase was completed, which allowed PANSA to launch FRA in Warszawa FIR according to the schedule. Free Route Airspace in Poland is known as POLFRA.
