Change at the position of the President of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency
On 11 February 2015, at the request of Maria Wasiak the Minister of Infrastructure and Development, the Priminister Ewa Kopacz entrusted the duties of the President of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency to Magdalena Jaworska, the former Vice President of PAŻP. Magdalena Jaworska replaced on this position Mr.Krzysztof Kapis.
Magdalena Jaworska specializes in: planning and implementation of the multibillion infrastructure investments, managing institutions that administrate and spend EU funds and budgetary resources and Management of Change.
Since September 2014, she served as Vice President of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency for the Finance and Administration. In the years 2008-2014 as Deputy General Director for National Roads and Motorways she was responsible for the implementation of the largest in the history program of the roads and highways construction. It had a value of over 100 billion PLN. It was financed, among others, from the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program. The funds were also taken from PPP. She was as well responsible for the implementation of Electronic Toll Collection System.
She graduated from the Department of Journalism and Political Science at Warsaw University in the field of International Relations. She also finished postgraduate studies in the field of European Integration - EU Law, at the University of Maastricht and at the University of Warsaw. She finished MBA at Business School of Warsaw University of Technology as well.
Magdalena Jaworska is a Member of the Supervisory Board of PKP PLK. In the years 2003-2005, she was a Member of the Supervisory Board in Krakow Technology Park, and in the years 2005-2007, a member and then Vice-President of the Supervisory Board in the Katowice Special Economic Zone. She also worked as The Director-General in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
