On May 25th, during the celebration of 100th anniversary of the Aero Club of Poland in Poznań, The Polish initiative NAVIHUB was officialy launched! The project of The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and Politechnika Poznańska (Poznan University of Technology)is a unique platform gathering creative ideas, knowledge and experience in the airspace management.
NAVIHUB will enable combining research and development together with tests and trials on innovations. Using the personal experience of scientific bodies and the aviation industry, NAVIHUB will allow to prepare future solutions for the modern ATM. Thanks to the common works of many stakeholders in areas like: R&D, UAS and education, the idea of Aviation 4.0 will become a reality.
President of PANSA Janusz Janiszewski said: "PANSA creates advanced technologies that modernise the Polish airspace. As a unique institution in our country, with a wide spectrum of experience and resources, we participate in the development of Polish innovative solutions for aviation, among others for the upcoming Central Transport Hub. (…) The modern aviation is based on advanced solutions and digitalisation of the airspace management. With NAVIHUB we build the next generation of ATM - Aviation 4.0".
