During the ATC Global Conference and Exchibitions 2011 in Amsterdam, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) and Lithuanian ORO Navigacija (ON) met, during the reception, with invited guests representing industry, international aviation organizations and European ANSPs, to present Baltic FAB and the status of its feasibility study performed by Helios.
Meeting attended by some 50 guests has been addressed by PANSA President K. Banaszek and ON CEO A. Rascius. In their speeches both officials stressed, that particular State’s size does not matter in the FAB idea, but what matters is the will to cooperate and reach the best practical results in achieving targets embedded in SES Regulations.
During the meeting future cooperation between FABs has been discussed, but also activities with non EU neighbours of the Baltic FAB. Participation of the guests from Baltic States, Russian Federation and Belorussia added considerably to the importance of the meeting.
During the meeting our honorable guests had the opportunity to gather information about the Baltic FAB from the presentation prepared for the meeting.
