20 October - International Day of the Air Traffic Controller
To Air Traffic Controllers,
It is already the fourth year in which I have the privilege to extend my best wishes to all of you on the occasion of the International Air Traffic Controller’s Day. On this special day let me wish you every happiness, success, professional progress and unremitting involvement and commitment to work contributing to the development of safe and efficient Air Traffic Management system in Poland.
On 20 October each year we celebrate also the Day of Polish Air Navigation Services Agency – the day of all PANSA’s personnel, whose work, duties and effort are key and invaluable in the realization of PANSA’s tasks in a safe and efficient manner. We hope that the families of our employees will join our today’s celebrations.
In the past 12 months we had an exceptional chance to prove that we are able to work efficiently in a team and prepare our organization for the increasing air traffic and new external and internal requirements and demands imposed on the Agency. The results of Polish Air Traffic Control’s activity are recognized and acknowledged in Europe and worldwide. They are ranked high by the aviation authority, air carriers and even general aviation and sporting aviation sectors, which was confirmed by a prestigious Federation Aeronautique Internationale award (“FAI Award”) granted to PANSA at the 105-th FAI General Conference.
