Polish Air Navigation Services Agency received Air Navigation Service Providing Institution Certificate.
On June 19, 2007, Grzegorz Kruszyński, President of Civil Aviation Office, in the presence of Eugeniusz Wróbel, Under-Secretary of State of Ministry of the Transport, handed Air Navigation Service Providing Institution Certificate to Polish Air Navigation Services Agency. President Maciej Rodak took the certificate on behalf of the Agency.
The Certificate mandates PANSA to provide air navigation services in: air traffic, aeronautical information, communication, navigation and supervision (providing separation of aircrafts with using radiolocation devices).
The primary purpose of certification is to state that the air navigation service providing institution fulfills the requirements of European Committee (WE) No 2096/2005 regulation dated December 20, 2005.
The requirement of certification was compelled by European Parliament and Council of European Union’s (WE) No 550 regulation, dated March 10, 2004 in case of providing air navigation services in Single European Sky.
