Cumulusy is a nationwide aviation poll organised to support and promote aviation athletes, give faith and hope to dreamers, engage aviation fans and enthusiasts, and integrate the aviation community in Poland. Bartosz Orłowski, Klaudiusz Dybowski and Tomasz Wróbel – these are our three aces. All three have been nominated in the 11th edition of this prestigious poll. This is a great honour and a source of pride for all of us. We encourage everyone to vote!
Bartosz Orłowski is a military and civil air traffic controller who has been associated with PANSA for many years, where he held key operational and training positions, and last year he took over the management of the PANSA Air Traffic Services Office. He is an active pilot (SEPL) and OJT instructor. He is involved in aviation education. He is able to translate the controller’s perspective into the language of pilots, thereby significantly improving operational culture and the safety of air operations.
Klaudiusz Dybowski is a true legend within PANSA and the wider air traffic control community. Having trained countless controllers, he is an undisputed authority in the field. His nomination for the Cumulus Awards in the “Air Operations Service” category, coming shortly after his retirement, serves as a fitting crowning achievement to his distinguished career.
Tomasz Wróbel is a TWR controller at Cracow-Balice Airport, well-known to GA pilots both and beyond the Małopolska region. For many years, he has organized and participated in GA training courses focused on refining aviation phraseology and communication. He also leverages his extensive tower experience as a manager of air shows in Poland and abroad.
The winners will be announced on February 21, 2026, during a gala ceremony at the Mazurkas Hotel in Ożarów Mazowiecki.
