Every day, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PAŻP) ensures the safety of passengers on nearly 3,000 aircraft flying over Poland. The airspace we oversee and control covers over 334,000 km² and is one of the largest in Europe. Every day, nearly half a million passengers are on board aircraft flying over Poland. The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency is the only institution in Poland that trains and employs civilian air traffic controllers.

For years, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency has successfully secured EU funding for infrastructure and CNS/ATM system projects. We are particularly active in implementation projects coordinated by the SESAR Deployment Manager. These projects align with the objectives of the ATM Master Plan and stem from the obligations set forth in the CP1 Regulation.

In 2024, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Center of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency launched a total of more than a dozen new digital services integrated into a single drone ecosystem, and drone users in Poland gained a record number of new tools to support both the mission planning and submission process, as well as the reporting and execution of the flight itself. According to data from the Civil Aviation Authority, as of December 31, 2024, there were 302,801 UAV operators registered in Poland.
