Participation of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency in RENEGADE - KAPER exercises
On the next Tuesday, May 12, tactical-specialized exercises in counteracting terrorist attacks from air and sea under the code-name of RENEGADE - KAPER will be held in Polish air and maritime space.
The organizer of the RENEGADE - KAPER exercises - the General Command of Branches of Armed Forces conducts periodical tactical-specialized exercises within the field of emergency response, the primary purpose of which is to test the procedures of joint-action and prevention of terrorist threat from air and sea.
The exercise has been prepared in such a manner that the hypothetical scenario events are as close to the reality as possible and can be reflected in real life, allowing the exercised to actually act. This is connected with real signs of a terrorist attack as well as the involvement of services and institutions responsible for the safety and public order. At the same time, common population alarming and warning training will be conducted within the frames of the exercise in the selected regions of the country.
Both the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and the extramilitary pact structures, which in the course of performance of their tasks affect the security in the country, are involved in the exercise: The RZS Operational Command with subordinated centers and facilities, the RSZ General Command with subordinated units, Military Police, Military Counterintelligence Service, Military Intelligence Service, Government Security Centre, Police, Boarder Guard, "Porty Lotnicze" State Enterprise", LOT Polish Airlines, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, ABW Ant-terrorist Center, Maritime Office and government administration
