BALTIC FAB-FABEC & InterFAB Performance Workshops hosted by PANSA
On the 16th May 2018 PANSA was the host of the second “InterFAB Performance Workshop”. The workshop was attended by representatives of Baltic FAB, BLUE MED, DANUBE FAB, FABEC, FAB CE.
The purpose of the event was to continue talks on topics raised during the meeting in Sofia, where topics relevant to all participating in the FAB initiatives were identified.
During the meeting, the “Volatility in Air Traffic and its impact on ATM Performance” workshop (also hosted by PANSA) and details on the issue of air traffic volatility and its impact on ATM were summarized.
Issues such as: FAB CE Study on fragmentation, objections to comparisons between ANS in the United States of America and the European Union, or preparations for the third reference period (2020-2024) were also discussed.
Two days earlier there was a working meeting of BALTIC FAB and FABEC, in which also representatives of PANSA Leadership and ATFCM (Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management) experts took part.
The meeting discussed, among others, preparations carried out by PANSA before the FIFA World Cup in Russia this year, new solutions in the field of ATFCM introduced by FABEC, or proposals for changes to EU regulations 390 and 391.
