President of PANSA Janusz Janiszewski during European Economic Congress
11th European Economic Congress was held from 13th to 15th of May, 2019 in Katowice, Poland, and as always it gathered some greatest figures of the business world. President of PANSA Janusz Janiszewski was among them and took an active part in panel „The Central Airport and Railway Hub (CPK). The current state of play in preparations and expectations”.
President of PANSA Janusz Janiszewski said during the panel:
„We have a chance to became a significant driving force for the European air transport growth."
„We have the 6th biggest airspace in Europe with the 10% annual air traffic growth. It means that we have to start preparations for the CPK right now. (…) Launching CPK equals the necessity to redesign the lower airspace in FIR EPWW below FL360.”
„For the Polish Air Navigations Services Agency building CPK means three issues: a complete change of the ATM philosophy; modernizing the CNS infrastructure and redesigning the Polish airspace; and hiring and training new ATCOs.”
„We wish FIR EPWW to become the most modern airspace in Europe with a wide use of cutting-edge technologies, digitalistion, remote solutions and the big data center. (...) CPK will connect smart towers with well-known solutions."
„The technological revolution is already on! Smart towers - in which ATCOs work in rooms set far away from airports - are gaining popularity. CPK will be a modern and digital aiport itself, connecting ‘smart towers’ with conventional well-known solutions."
