European Committee accepted the fifth update to the Union’s list of airlines being under the embargo of providing flights to EU countries.
The Commission banned two more airlines from providing transportation, considering them dangerous. They are Ukrainian Mediterranean Airlines and Iranian Mahan-Air.
“Once more, the blacklist’s update appears to be an active instrument, which the Commission can use without waiting for changes provided every three months” said Jacques Barrot, the Vice-President of the Commission of Transport.
